Welcome, and thanks for taking the time to visit my website! My photography centers around "connections". How does our nation's history shape who we are? How about our cultural connections? Growing up, I always loved being around animals, and felt strongly about animal welfare issues. All through school, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but realized  I wasn't suited for all aspects of that profession. Thank goodness for those, like my cousin Marcy, who are! Photography has given me a way to illustrate the "animal connections" that are a part of our lives. It also gives me reasons to visit a wide variety of animals in varied settings! Most of all, it's a way for me to give back to those who share a part of their lives with animals.  My hope is that you see something here in my galleries that causes a reaction or a feeling of some kind.
