WHO IS JIM SACK?

Jim Sack worked with kids for over thirty years, mostly as a teacher, but with a dash of school principal thrown in. His books, sprinkled with humor, are meant to help the reader understand different perspectives and the  experiences of others. Each book in his What Makes Me… series shares how a child’s experiences and relationships shape who they are- all told through their own words, while his book, The Real Classroom, uses stories and lessons contributed by teachers, parents, and former students to show what really goes on in school. Jim’s latest book, Defining America, encourages all of us to define the America we envision.

Personally, Jim, his wife, Eileen, and their cat, Kenzie, who is always getting into trouble, live in upstate New York not far from their adult children.
