An author, like the owner of any business, has to decide where to draw the line in what is shared with customers or clients. For years now, I've tried to walk that tightrope between trying to avoid topics that could be, in any way, considered controversial and wanting to share rational thoughts and opinions so people can contribute without feeling targeted. Well, I've decided that IT'S TIME. It's time to say what I want to say, whether in regards to current events, politics, etc., not because what I have to say is so extraordinary or unique, but because I think it's the right thing to do. Besides, at 68 years of age, I've earned the right to speak my mind, not to mention that holding my feelings in isn't really good for my health.
So, sit back, consider what I have to say, and share your own thoughts. You may agree or disagree- that's certainly your right. The only thing I ask is that you show the same courtesy and respect that I'll show to you.
